Modeling Views are a concept of SAP HANA. They are used to model (transform, filter, aggregate, etc.) data in HANA. Modeling views do not persist data but can be considered as meta data. The calculations are executed during executing of the view. The results of a modeling view may be consumed by reporting tools. There are 3 modeling view: Attribute View, Analytic View and Calculation View.
